When Anela and Brian reached out to me about photoshoot, they didn’t want the typical beach session - no palm trees, no sand between the toes. Anela, born and raised on Kauai, and Brian, from Washington state, both share love for the land - open skies, grassy fields, and that peaceful atmosphere. So instead of heading to a crowded beach at sunset, we came to one of my favorite spots on Maui’s North Shore: a cow pasture overlooking the ocean.

And it was perfect!

We walked, laughed, danced a little, and paused to take in the last light. These are the sessions I love most - when we let go of tradition and create something that truly reflects the couple's spirit.
