Solo Beach Maternity Photoshoot | Maui Babymoon Photographer

There’s something so powerful and serene about a pregnant woman connecting with nature, and Tatiana’s solo maternity session on Maui’s North Shore was exactly that.

First, coming solo for your maternity photoshoot is totally fine! You don’t need a partner or family members to make it meaningful. In fact, solo sessions often carry such a beautiful, grounding energy - it’s all about you, your baby, and this unique chapter of your journey.

When Tatiana reached out, I asked her to share a Pinterest board so I could get a feel for the vibe she liked. This always helps me align with my clients’ vision while still keeping the photos natural and authentic.

We met in the early morning when the tide was low, revealing calm, crystal-clear natural pools. Tatiana chose a few simple, beautiful outfits that matched the setting and reflected her laid-back, grounded energy. She started in a classic black bikini, later changed into a one-piece swimsuit, and then into a breezy skirt and crop top combo - perfect for adding movement and variety to the gallery.

I captured her as she gently explored the natural pools, soaked up the sunshine, and embraced this quiet moment in her pregnancy journey. We didn’t overly pose anything - just let her be, breathe, move, and enjoy. The result was a collection of images that feel raw, sun-kissed, and full of life.

These kinds of sessions are some of my favorites - when it’s just you and the ocean!

Planning a babymoon or maternity session on Maui? Whether you come solo or bring your partner, I’ll help you create beautiful images that capture your connection, your beauty, and this incredible season of life.
